I started photographing weddings and families in 2010, and I can truly and honestly say that every single person who lands here still makes my heart skip. I started my business while in college studying photography and it was like my soul caught on fire. Initially, I had plans to be a ceramics art teacher, but when a camera was gifted to me in Christmas 2009, my passion gave me no choice but to switch my major and follow my new dream. It has been an amazing ride. I have photographed over 1,000 family sessions and 250+ weddings and I can proudly say its still the passion that drives me. It has changed and evolved over the years, matured. Now having been married myself and started my own family, I can truly and deeply understand the value of what I do. When I show up to your session or event, I provide to you what I would want myself, timeless, authentic, lasting images of the people you love. My husband and I have two young boys that fill our days with piggy back rides, dinosaurs, fort building and bath time. When I am not chasing my kids I love to be outside in the garden. I would consider myself an aspiring amateur flower farmer. Flowers bring me a unique peace and calm, I am hooked for life. We have spent the last 7 years renovating a childhood dream of mine, a house in the country with a great big porch to watch the sunsets. Making this house our home has been such a rewarding process for us. In that time we were able to build my dream studio in our front yard. Being creative in my career but also at home has really made my life so fulfilling. My gratitude for all of these things is overflowing. Life is good!
