Allison and Jason are SO CUTE! Allison’s sweet and bubbly personality is so contagious. LOVED getting to know them both and spend their day with them! It rained most of their wedding day, so they chose to rent The Ohio State House for portraits, which worked out perfectly! And then, the rain cleared and we had the most gorgeous sunset! Everything worked out perfectly!! Its been some time since I shot their Columbus wedding, and I just had so much fun reliving it. Congrats again you two!!
With my best friends due date approaching in just one short week, I thought it only fitting to share their in home maternity session. I absolutely loved photographing this for them. Ashley and I have been best friends for over 13 years. She is my friend soulmate. We tell each other everything and talk multiple times a day. I would be lost in this world without her! I’m sure you can imagine my excitement that her and Ben will be expecting a little girl at the end of January. These moments are so fast and fleeting, I feel honored to have been able to freeze some of this time in their life. Ash and Ben – I love you!! Congrats! And Miss Kate Love, you have no idea what you’re in for. So many kisses and squeezes headed your way. Come on our and meet everyone who loves you so much!!
These are our great friends, Josh and Valerie. Josh was the best man in our wedding. Nick and Josh met years ago when Josh bought a motorcycle off of him… Which led to tons of camping trips and motorcycle rides and cookouts and hang outs. They quickly became great friends. And then Josh and Valerie met through a mutual friend shooting shotguns on the 4th of July. Quite the love story, huh!? Which led to the longest and best first date ever (according to them!) in which one of the stops was visiting my husband who had just had his appendix removed. Pretty good friends to spend their first date with my recovering hubs! Since then there have been countless double dates, dinners, weddings, and overall just amazing times together. Nick and I will be in their bridal party so I won’t be shooting their wedding – I am so excited to celebrate these two with all our friends! It’s going to be a great party and I get so happy thinking about it!! Shooting their engagement photos was so much fun! We got coffee at Fox in the Snow Cafe — and then headed to Hoover Dam at sunset. It was the most gorgeous November day. I love these two so much!! This session quickly became one of my favorites.
